The Association offers services for the enterprises through the following platforms:

a)Platform of international exchanges and cooperation in the field of economy
In order to promote international cooperation, the Association endeavors to establish and strengthen relationship with relative international organizations and Associations of various countries and regions; organizes members to make study tours abroad, invite foreign officials，entrepreneurs，specialists to visit Shanghai and exchange ideas with local counterparts. Subordinated to the Association, there are two Special Committees; one is Special Committee for Cooperation between Chinese and Foreign Contractors, the other is Special Committee for Human Resource Cooperation which organize all kinds of seminars according to the demands of the members.

b) Platform of information service
In order to enrich and expand information resources, the Association provides members with relative domestic and international laws and regulations, policies on foreign economic and technological cooperation, development trend of the trade, international market research, and project information through website (www.saietc.org.) and periodical trade publications.

c) Platform of training for upgrading competitiveness of the trade
In order to strengthen the international competitiveness of the enterprises, the Association holds various professional training courses according to the demands of members.

d) Platform of consultation on laws and policies
In order to help members be familiar with pertinent laws and regulations home and abroad, the Association offers consultation services through the established expert network.

e) Platform of specifying trade behavior
In accordance with specifications laid down by the Association, the Association keeps to regulate good trade order and behavior; and coordinate business activities and disputes between the members.

f) Platform of communication between enterprises and government authorities
On behalf of the members, the Association makes reasonable proposals to the government authorities; assists the government to draft relevant policies and regulations; helps members to contact government authorities and relevant organizations when needed.
